Claude Opus 4.8 replaced by Claude Opus 5 in model table

Anthropic updated the models overview page, replacing Claude Opus 4.8 with Claude Opus 5 as the recommended model for complex agentic coding and enterprise work. The new model has a May 2026 knowledge cutoff (vs Jan 2026 for Opus 4.8). Users should migrate to the new model ID claude-opus-5.
